Job summary

ChristianaCare in Newark, Delaware, seeks an experienced RN to join the 5D medical telemetry inpatient unit at Christiana Hospital. The role is 36 hours per week on a Night shift, with weekends and holidays per department guidelines. Typical shift is 7pm–7am.

BSN preferred; current Delaware RN license or eligibility; 1–2 years med/surg experience preferred; telemetry experience a plus; BLS required. We value teamwork and compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• Commitment to obtaining within three years of date of hire can be considered with relevant experience.
• Current Delaware RN license or eligibility for Delaware RN license.
• 1-2 years med/surg experience preferred.
• Telemetry experience a plus.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on the 5D medical telemetry inpatient unit.
• Document assessments, care plans, and communications per unit standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
