Hartford Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for Bliss 11 Step Down, an 18-bed unit providing care to patients with complex, acute medical issues. You will follow the nursing process under supervision to develop and implement care plans that address physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN license required prior to orientation.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN required.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association required prior to Orientation.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision of the Nurse Manager, apply evidence-based nursing practices to develop a care plan.
• Provide care for Step Down patients with complex, acute issues in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs.
