Job summary

Valley Baptist - Harlingen is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts to provide direct clinical patient care and supervise assigned staff. The role supports the CNO in ensuring high-quality, safe nursing care and efficient resource management across shifts.

Required licensure and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable. Preferred BSN/MSN and recent acute care experience. A comprehensive benefits package and sign-on bonus may be available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Recent acute care experience preferred.
• Current license/certification to practice; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe, cost-effective nursing care to all patients.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process.
• Direct care per established safety, risk management, and infection control standards.
• Supervise staff and delegate appropriate care.
• Administer medications safely and timely per hospital policy.
• Fulfill all HICS responsibilities and duties as directed by the facility.
