Job summary

UC Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Short Stay Unit at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH. The RN will provide high-quality patient care, perform observations, and collaborate with a team-based approach under established standards and policies.

Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited nursing program, an Ohio RN license (ACLS/BLS may be required after hire), and an associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Associate’s degree is required. Bachelor’s preferred.
• Licensure in the State of Ohio as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN).
• ACLS and BLS (may receive after hire).

Responsibilities

• Carries out observation of care and delivers high-quality care based on assessed needs and policy.
• Uses team-based nursing approaches to serve patients from multiple specialties.
• Maintains documentation and communication with care team per unit standards.
