Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Short Stay Department to provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care on the night shift (7 pm – 7 am). This full-time role requires an active Georgia RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, with a focus on teamwork and patient safety.

The RN will operate within Wellstar’s governance model, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and document care effectively while guiding ongoing quality improvement and patient

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in nursing or graduate of accredited/approved school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• Current RN license in Georgia; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Document care and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Support care management and patient education across the care continuum.
