Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Short Stay Department on the night shift (7 pm – 7 am). This full-time role supports an interdisciplinary team to deliver individualized, high-quality care.

The RN will follow Wellstar practice models and regulatory standards to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes. Requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred), current Georgia RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable, and a commitment to evidence-based

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English and use basic computer skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond decisively to emergencies.
• Strong time management and analytical thinking to apply evidence-based nursing.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nursing Process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation using evidence-based practice.
• Coordinate safe, high-quality patient care through interdisciplinary collaboration and documentation.
• Participate in patient and family education and support and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Contribute to performance improvement and shared governance activities as directed.
