Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Good Samaritan in Park River, ND, cares for residents during 12-hour night shifts, applying the nursing process to deliver individualized care. Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the practicing state; multi-state licensure acceptable.
• Complies with department competencies and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care and resident assessment, education and nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with residents, families and an inter-disciplinary team to plan and evaluate care.
• Provide care across all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis and treatment.
• May serve as charge nurse and supervise licensed and unlicensed staff as needed.
