Job summary

Miami Children’s Hospital is seeking an RN- Respiratory for the night shift to provide high-quality pediatric care. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safety and efficacy for medical/surgical and respiratory patients.

Qualifications

• BSN degree or currently enrolled in BSN program.
• National certification preferred within 5 years.
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive nursing assessments across systems including neurological and respiratory.
• Prepares patients for transfer and communicates progress to the receiving nurse.
• Administers medications according to the six rights of medication administration.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams and participates in daily care planning rounds.
• Documents care plans and patient information in the electronic health record.
