Job summary

Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the Night Shift. The role provides and coordinates comprehensive respiratory care for neonatal, pediatric, and pediatric cardiac patients across ICU, floors, and emergency department.

36 hours per week on the 3rd shift, with a strong focus on clinical excellence. You will administer therapies, operate ventilators, assist physicians, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• BLS certification required; NBRC CRT credential within 45 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care procedures per standards and policies.
• Operate ventilators in critical and non‑critical care areas.
• Educate patients and families on therapy and disease management.
• Collaborate with physicians and other departments to optimize patient care.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety and infection control.
