Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Resource Registered Nurse for Behavioral Health at Banner Behavioral Health Hospital in Scottsdale, AZ. You will float across the campus, with primary duties in Central Intake and Assessment, providing flexible nursing support and collaborating with the care team.

The role requires RN licensure, BLS, and experience or interest in behavioral health, with a Night Shift schedule (6 PM–6:30 AM) and a $15,000 sign-on incentive for eligible RNs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in Behavioral Health is preferred and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs and plan care.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing staff as needed.
• Document care plans, interventions, and patient responses promptly and accurately.
• Promote safety, evidence-based care, and quality outcomes across the unit.
