Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a part-time nurse for the night shift in New York. The role involves crisis intervention, therapeutic nursing interventions, patient education, goal setting, critical thinking, and care planning within our Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program, a state-designated community health center.

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with current NY licensure (or eligibility), plus BLS/CPR certification and at least one year of related experience,

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current licensure, or eligibility for licensure, in the State of New York.
• Minimum of one year experience in related field.
• Maintains current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Crisis intervention and nursing interventions, hands-on skills, patient education, goal setting, critical thinking and care planning.
• Collaborative team approach with social work, psychiatrists, clinical affiliates and unit support staff.
• Ensures quality nursing care in accordance with the NY Nurse Practice Act and applicable standards.
