Job summary

Northwest Medical Center Tucson is seeking a Night Shift RN in the Women’s Center to provide patient-centered maternity and newborn care within the OB and nursery units.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for mothers and infants, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and educate families on postpartum care while upholding safety, infection control, and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
• State RN license in good standing.
• BCLS certification.
• Strong patient assessment and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of infection control and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to develop care plans.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and postpartum care.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in code team activities.
