Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program with 12 months of nursing experience in the last 5 years.
• OR ADN from an accredited program with at least 2 years of nursing experience in the last 5 years.
• Current unencumbered Georgia RN license.
• BLS certification; ACLS may be required for certain departments.
• Active compact/multistate license (eNLC) within 60 days of hire; see requirements for virtual care.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe, independent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Performs thorough patient assessments and evaluates outcomes.
• Develops and implements patient care plans with input from patient and family.
• Documents care accurately in electronic and physical records.
• Identifies learning needs and recommends resources.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team; may serve as Charge Nurse.
• Participates in orientation of staff and students when no preceptor.
