Qualifications

• BSN with 12 months of nursing experience in the past five years or recent re-entry program.
• ADN with minimum two years of nursing experience in the past five years.
• Valid RN license in Georgia.
• BLS certification; ACLS may be required for certain departments.
• If performing virtual care, active compact/multistate license within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective nursing care using the nursing process.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and recognize impact of care on outcomes.
• Develop and implement patient care plans with patient/family input.
• Document care accurately in electronic and physical records.
• Delegate using the Synergy Model and work with the interdisciplinary team.
• Lead or assist as Charge Nurse when assigned and orient staff.
