Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for per diem night shifts in the Med/Surg/Telemetry unit.

You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, and coordinate with physicians about changes in patient condition. BLS required; ACLS preferred; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice and guide patient/family teaching.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition, including monitoring and test results.
• Maintain standards of care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit and supervise other nursing personnel as assigned.
