Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Patient Care Assistant for night shift on a per diem basis in Bristol, PA. Responsibilities include assisting patients with activities of daily living and providing basic nursing care under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current EKG certification upon hire, preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology.
• Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Patient Care Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to all patients and assists in maintenance of a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
