Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking an RN to join the PCU Multisystem (MSU) team on nights. This inpatient unit focuses on medical and psychiatric needs, offering a comprehensive care approach and collaboration with a multidisciplinary staff.

The role requires an Associate's Nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred), active RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications. Nights are 7pm–7am, 36 hours per week, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

RN license in good standing (Florida)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Associate's degree in nursing; Bachelor's preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, and social factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols; monitor for adverse effects.
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care.
Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
