Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the night shift in Akron, OH. This 13-week contract covers 36 hours per week with responsibilities including direct patient care, supervising ancillary staff, and discharging planning.

Candidates must hold an RN license and have BLS and ACLS credentials prior to the first shift, with LTAC experience preferred. The role emphasizes delivering quality care, coordinating with an interdisciplinary team, and maintaining safety standards

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license.
• BLS certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift (specific to CIRH).
• Minimum of two years bedside clinical experience is highly desired.
• Previous LTAC experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to develop individualized care plans.
• Identify teaching needs and collaborate with patients and families throughout the care process.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program, utilizing the nursing process to provide quality care.
• Initiate discharge planning upon patient admission and educate regarding discharge procedures.
• Communicate changes in patient status to the interdisciplinary team to support continuity of care.
• Supervise and train ancillary nursing personnel, ensuring effective use of time and resources.
• Promote safety within the work environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
• Engage in professional development through ongoing education and self-study.
