Job summary

Christiana Care Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to work 36 hours per week on the Night Shift (7p-7a) at Christiana Hospital. You will provide holistic patient care, educate patients about medications and disease processes, and monitor for emergencies while supporting a 4- to 5-patient assignment on the 3C Medical Unit Stepdown/PCU.

Qualifications include a BSN, with ADN candidates encouraged to pursue BSN within three years.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• ADNs candidate are required to commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire can be considered with relevant experience.
• Minimum one year of acute care or sub-acute care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic patient care that is patient- and family-centered.
• Monitor patients closely and manage emergencies as they arise.
• Maintain 4- to 5-patient assignments on the 3C Medical Unit Stepdown/PCU.
• Demonstrate proficiency in telemetry monitoring and advanced respiratory support as needed.
