Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe, competent nursing care in alignment with our policies and philosophy. You will lead the healthcare team and support Patient Centered Care across shifts.

You will develop and implement age-appropriate care plans, monitor safety, and ensure adherence to standards while building a culture of exemplary patient care and personal excellence at NWTHS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Must successfully pass pre-employment assessments.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Current Texas state nursing license.
• De-escalation training within 90 days of hire.
• Ongoing demonstration of clinically pertinent competencies as determined by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate plans of care using the nursing process.
