Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Night Shift RN Clinical Nurse to join an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. You will practice under Nurse Managers and the Shared Governance Model, adhering to professional standards and Wellstar ethics.

The role requires an RN with a valid Georgia license and at least 2 years direct patient care experience, capable of critical thinking, collaboration, and efficient time management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing or graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 2 years direct patient care nursing experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English with basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies.
• Evidence-based practice and analytical thinking are important.

Responsibilities

• Exemplary practice and outcomes in patient care.
• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based care.
• Provides patient-centered care respectful of age, gender, culture and disease considerations.
• Partners with patient and family using bedside rounds, interdisciplinary rounds, and patient teaching.
• Practices according to current clinical standards and protocols.
• Demonstrates teamwork and collaborates across disciplines to ensure safe, quality care.
• Supports performance improvement and governance initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
