Qualifications

• Accredited Nursing Program required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required; Florida RN license required.
• RN Fellowship or specialized pediatric/ICU certifications may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families according to age, culture, and condition.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including referrals and psychosocial support.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on assessments to optimize outcomes.
• Document patient condition and communicate changes to the care team.
• Delegate patient care to ancillary staff as appropriate.
• May precept students or new hires.
