Job summary

Manchester Memorial Hospital, Inc. is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care on a night shift (11:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.). You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and clear communication of patient status.

The nurse will apply the nursing process, maintain safety, educate patients and families, and pursue ongoing professional growth in a supportive Hartford HealthCare network setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and hold a CT RN license.
• ACLS certification required within hire or during orientation.
• Critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs population-specific assessments and develops care plans.
• Coordinates patient care with interdisciplinary team and reports changes promptly.
• Documents the nursing process and patient responses in timely manner.
• Promotes age-appropriate care and patient education for the family.
• Assists physicians with peri-anesthesia procedures and monitoring.
• Demonstrates autonomous practice and ongoing professional development.
