Job summary

Temple University Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time 36-hour weekly night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), with every-other weekend and holidays as required. The RN will assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under physicians, using the nursing process.

Collaborating with patients, families, and the health care team, the nurse directs nursing support staff and adheres to professional standards and departmental policies.

Qualifications

• PA Registered Nurse license required.
• Basic Life Support required.
• Multi-State Compact RN license required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Assess, implement and evaluate patient care under physician direction.
• Collaborate with patient/family and health care team to tailor care.
• Direct nursing support staff per nursing standards and policies.
• Maintain ongoing professional education and certifications as required.
