Job summary

Good Samaritan Pipestone is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care to residents, collaborating with the care team to plan and evaluate care. The role includes night shifts and coordinating care across disciplines in a Christian, not-for-profit setting.

The RN will utilize established nursing standards and may serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff while ensuring safe and high-quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA accreditation.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the applicable state and/or multistate licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with residents, families and inter-disciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, resident assessment and education; delegate tasks as needed.
• Adhere to Nurse Practice Act and professional standards in state of practice.
