Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program; BSN required, ADN acceptable if matriculated in a BSN Program.
• Current RN license in New York State; BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using Relationship Centered Care.
• Assess and evaluate patient care needs with critical thinking.
• Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Care Team to plan and evaluate care.
• Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care and transitions.
• Document accurately in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Perform charge nurse duties as assigned.
