Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Orthopedics unit to provide high-quality patient care on a night shift. The role involves utilizing the nursing process, coordinating care with multiple departments, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy Service Standards.

Education options include ADN, Nursing Diploma, or BSN with RN licensure in Missouri or a compact license. Prior hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: Associate Degree in Nursing, Nursing Diploma, or BSN.
• Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or possess compact licensure.
• Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments and in coordination with Mercy Service Standards.
