Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) on the Orthopedics unit for night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This part-time role offers 24 hours per week and requires strong clinical nursing skills and teamwork.

You will apply the nursing process to plan and provide patient care, coordinate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and Mercy Service Standards while pursuing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with RN licensure.
• MO or compact state RN license required.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Hospital experience preferred depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process to provide patient care for assigned patients.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Evaluate care effectiveness of direct care givers and coordinate with other departments.
• Ensure alignment with Mercy Service Standards and mission.
