Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Orthopedics. Night shift, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, for part-time 24 hours/week. The RN will provide direct patient care, use the nursing process, and coordinate care with other departments while upholding Mercy standards.

Required are an accredited nursing program (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN) and MO RN licensure (or compact). BLS is required or within 30 days of hire; hospital experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must hold a current RN license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required or to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient rights.
