Job summary

Covenant Health invites applications for a Registered Nurse in Orthopedic Med Surg at Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. The role involves direct nursing care for assigned patients, typically three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend, with full-time benefits.

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed in Tennessee, with CPR/ACLS/NALS certifications as required. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered for hospital-experienced RNs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• Knowledge of nursing processes and current standards of care.
• Awareness of hospital policies and regulations as they relate to nursing service.
• Understanding of patient safety and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify patient physiological and psychosocial problems.
• Develop an individualized plan of nursing care with measurable goals.
• Ensure care plans align with medical plan and current standards.
• Assign tasks based on patient acuity and supervise team members.
• Document plan of care review at least every 24 hours.
