Job summary

St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for the MS1D Oncology unit. The RN provides direct and/or indirect patient care on a 12-hour night shift (7pm-7:30am) with emphasis on oncology and med/surg care in a 16-bed unit.

Qualifications include a BSN, PA RN license, BLS, and chemo certification preferred. The role offers comprehensive benefits and growth within a mission-driven hospital.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• PA RN license required.
• AHA BLS certification.
• Chemo certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses learning needs and integrates education into daily care.
• Documents admission assessment, plan, interventions and meds.
• Uses information management system to document patient status changes.
• Communicates transfer of care during rounds and bedside handoffs.
• Recognizes patient needs and supports pain management in the plan.
• Adheres to infection control standards and maintains a safe environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
