Essentia Health in Duluth, MN, is hiring a registered nurse for the Observation Unit at Miller Dwan. This 0.75 FTE night shift role offers 12-hour shifts with every third weekend, in a setting that supports Joint Commission requirements and community service.

Required BSN or ADN from an accredited program, Minnesota RN licensure, and BCLS within one month. RN experience in acute medicine/surgery is preferred, with potential hiring incentives of up to $10,000 for BSN and $7,500 for ADN.

Qualifications

• Current nursing licensure in Minnesota.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month.
• 1 year Acute Med/Surg RN experience preferred, Critical Care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and provide care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Lead and delegate tasks to nursing staff based on licensure and training.
• Support meeting hospital mission and goals and serve the community.
