Job summary

AdventHealth in Orange City, FL is seeking a registered nurse for full-time Night-Weekend shifts. You will assess patients across physical, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle domains and craft individualized care plans.

You will administer medications and treatments per orders, educate patients and families, coordinate with the care team, document accurately, maintain infection control, and participate in performance improvement activities.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Nursing required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, and spiritual needs.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and evaluate progress.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care.
Coordinate care with medical staff to optimize patient outcomes and ensure effective communication.
Document patient information and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
Ensure infection control and safety compliance; participate in performance improvement activities.
Respond to code situations and provide interventions to stabilize patients.
