Job summary

Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the night shift (7:00pm–7:30am) with every other weekend required. The role provides professional nursing care in an assigned unit, coordinates care planning, and ensures patient safety and quality care based on the nursing process.

Candidates must have at least 1 year OB/L&D experience, California RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP and Advanced Fetal Monitoring upon orientation.

Qualifications

• Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit.
• Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
• Direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
• Supervises by directing other healthcare staff for the provision of patient care.
• Evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Participates in hourly rounding.
• Observes safety guidelines and safe work practices.
• May be in charge for a shift.
