Job summary

Desert Care Network in California is seeking a Registered Nurse for Night shift in our Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree. You will provide professional nursing care, coordinate care planning, and supervise staff as needed to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The role requires OB/L&D experience, California RN license, BLS, ACLS on orientation, and NRP with advanced fetal monitoring after orientation. This position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• CA RN license and BLS required.
• ACLS required on orientation.
• NRP and Advanced Fetal Monitoring required on orientation.
• 1+ year OB/L&D experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit.
• Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
• Delivers individualized, age-specific bedside nursing care.
• Supervises and directs other healthcare staff as needed.
• Evaluates nursing practice to achieve patient goals.
• Participates in hourly rounding.
• Follows safety guidelines and practices.
• May serve as shift supervisor when needed.

Job Summary

Up to $25,000 Sign-on Bonus based on Experience!

Shift: Nights, 7:00pm to 7:30am, every other weekend is required.

Job Type: Full Time

• Provides professional nursing care within an assigned unit.
• Coordinates care planning with other disciplines.
• Position renders individualized, age specific and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs.
• Acts as a supervisor by assessing, planning, delegating and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for the provision of patient care.
• Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice to identify patient goals.
• Participates in hourly rounding.
• Observes safety guidelines and safe work practices.
• May at times be asked to be in charge for a shift(s).

Qualifications

1yr or more in OB L/D experience needed

• License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California. BLS.
• ACLS required upon orientation completion.
• NRP and Advanced Fetal Monitoring required upon completion of orientation.
