Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse I for the Acute Care unit at Spring Harbor Hospital in Maine. This full-time night shift (3/12's) position is open to new graduate RNs with 0–2 years of experience and includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates.

Per diem hires are ineligible. The MH RN I role focuses on quality patient care, collaboration with the care team, and ensuring safe transitions for patients returning to the community.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; RN licensure is required.
• Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
• New Grad or RN with less than 12 months experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes.
• Collaborate with health care team to ensure optimal care and safety.
• Support care transitions from hospital to community with plan of care.
