Job summary

CoxHealth is a Level 1 Stroke and Trauma center. The 8th floor is the main nursing unit caring for neuro patients across age groups, including stroke, trauma, seizures, spinal fusions, brain injuries and telemetry.

Our team is team‑oriented, fast paced, and provides a strong learning environment with ACLS/Trauma certifications encouraged. The Medical-Surgical RN role supports adult and geriatric patients, requires Missouri RN license, and often night shifts.

Qualifications

• RN license active in Missouri
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Responsibilities

• Manage care of adult or geriatric medical-surgical patients
• Assess condition, administer meds, monitor vitals
• Keep records and educate patients and families
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team to achieve outcomes
