Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for the Night shift on the 8th floor unit in Springfield, MO. The RN will care for adult and geriatric patients, assess conditions, administer meds, and educate families in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements include an active MO RN license, acute care experience preferred, ACLS/Trauma-NIHSS certifications, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of adult or geriatric patients on the Medical-Surgical unit.
• Assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vitals.
• Maintain accurate records and provide education to patients and families.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to achieve patient outcomes.
