Beacon Health System is hiring a Full Time Night shift Registered Nurse for our Neuro/Ortho Unit in Kalamazoo, MI. You will provide direct nursing care and coordinate multidisciplinary care to ensure safe patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted).
• RN credentialing from Michigan Board of Nursing within 90 days of hire or transfer.
• AAS in Nursing or BSN or RN Diploma at start date.
• BSN must be completed within six years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Coordinate care with all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care.
• Assist with discharge planning and care transition with the healthcare team.
• Communicate patient status and nursing actions to physicians and team.
• Assess, monitor, and manage patient pain, symptoms and responses.
• Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed staff as appropriate.
