Texas Health Denton is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Mother Baby unit on the Night Shift. This PRN Level III/per diem role requires 7p-7a shifts as needed, with a cadence of 6 shifts per 6 weeks, including 2 weekend shifts and 1 major/2 minor holidays.

The unit includes 23 Postpartum/Newborn beds, 12 LDR beds, 2 OR suites, 16-bed Level III NICU, and a strong leadership team in a recently opened Women’s Tower. BSN preferred and a valid RN license are required.

Qualificações

• Nursing degree required (ADN or diploma); BSN preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse on hire required.
• BCLS certification required and current.
• CPI training annually required.
• NRP certification within 90 days.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience.
• Mother Baby experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers care to patients using the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiates information for patients and families.
• Maintains continuity of patient care across shifts and locations.
