Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a registered nurse to join the Mother-Baby/Couplet Care team for a 13-week assignment. The role focuses on postpartum and newborn care, with responsibilities including breastfeeding support, newborn assessments, and parent education.

The position requires a minimum of two years of RN experience, active RN license, and NCC C-EFM certification. Night shifts are 12 hours long, with potential for occasional weekend work and holidays as scheduled.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a mother-baby/postpartum setting.
• Active RN license required.
• NCC C-EFM certification is necessary.
• BLS, NRP required; ACLS preferred.
• AWHONN Advanced or Intermediate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer care to both mother and infant.
• Assist with circumcision care and newborn assessments.
• Provide breastfeeding instruction and discharge teaching.
• Manage IV therapy, pain control and monitor for complications.
• Inpatient postpartum care with diverse patient needs; charting in the Epic system.
