Sheppard Pratt is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Adult Mood Disorders unit in Towson, MD. The unit offers night shifts with a 36-hour workweek (7PM–7AM) and in-person work.

The RN will work with a multidisciplinary team caring for adults with mood disorders in a 22-bed unit. You will assess, plan, administer, and evaluate patient care, administer treatments, and provide psychosocial support to patients and families, while guiding paraprofessional staff and documenting progress for the

Qualificações

• Must possess a current RN license in Maryland (or compact state) at time of appointment and continuously.
• Experience in a psychiatric nursing setting is preferred.
• Extended clinical orientation/training starts after your first day.

Responsabilidades

• Provide full range of professional psychiatric nursing services per treatment plans.
• Administer medical treatment as prescribed by physician.
• Teach and provide psychosocial support to patients and families.
• Provide day-to-day clinical direction to staff as assigned.
• Document and report patient progress to the treatment team.
