Job summary

Sheppard Pratt in Towson, MD is seeking a Mental Health Worker for the Co-Ed Adolescent Mood Disorder Unit (7pm-7am). This is a full-time, 36-hour per week position requiring availability for 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend.

Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, you will help plan and evaluate patient needs based on behaviors. You will complete extended clinical orientation with the Clinical Education Department after your first day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Advanced degree in human services preferred, either in progress or obtained.
• Past direct care or related experience preferred.
• Must be available to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care within the Co-Ed Adolescent Mood Disorder Unit under supervision.
• Participate in planning and evaluation of patient needs based on behaviors.
• Complete extended clinical orientation and training with the Clinical Education Department.
