Job summary

Lone Peak Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for PRN night shifts in Draper, UT. You will provide direct care to perinatal patients, develop individualized care plans, and support the L&D team in a family-centered environment.

Ideal candidates will have an active Utah RN license, BLS/ACLS, STABLE, and NRP (preferred). At least 1 year of L&D experience is required to join our dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Current State of Utah or Compact RN license.
• BLS/BCLS certification and must be current or within 7 days of hire.
• ACLS certification and must be maintained, within 90 days of hire.
• STABLE certification required within 90 days of hire and maintained.
• NRP certification preferred; to be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Welcome perinatal patients to the L&D Unit and establish a sense of security.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise in antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care.
• Respond quickly to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Communicate with physicians about patient condition, fetal monitoring and diagnostic results.
• Perform nursing duties across Maternal Child health continuum of care.
• Participate in department process-improvement activities.
