Job summary

St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking a full-time RN for the Mother/Baby unit. This 12-hour night shift role involves assessing patients, planning and delivering comprehensive nursing care, and supervising staff to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The program includes a strong orientation, on-site BLS and neonatal resuscitation training, and opportunities for professional growth through the clinical ladder and educational funding.

Qualifications

• Current NYS RN license
• One year of Med Surg or Maternity experience

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of each patient and plan nursing care
• Provide comprehensive nursing care including spiritual, emotional and physiological needs
• Ensure plan of care is carried out through supervision of staff and evaluation
• Directly accountable to the Nurse Manager for quality patient care
• Deliver care tailored to patient age, growth and development
• Serve in charge role with clinical and leadership responsibilities
• Support clinical and leadership functions as needed
