Qualifications

• RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact.

Responsibilities

• Participate in performance improvement initiatives; uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards; support Shared Governance through councils or sponsored activities.
• Assist with the care plan and takes appropriate actions to promote patient outcomes and wellbeing.
• Deliver care as outlined, applying independent judgment where appropriate.
• Collaborate with and communicate patient care plans with other staff as appropriate.
• Deliver safe and effective care according to policies and procedures.
• Maintain documentation of patient assessment, changes in condition, care delivered, and incidents related to standards of care or compliance.
• Serve as an educational resource for patients and families on health-related issues.
• Communicate necessary patient information to family, licensed care providers, and other staff.
• Embrace patient- and family-centered care to maintain satisfaction.
• Contribute ideas to identify solutions and support change implementation.
• Support improvements aligned with better patient outcomes, satisfaction, staff satisfaction, and financial performance.
• Complete all required training and self-manage development opportunities.
• Foster growth of other nurses through mentorship and preceptorship.
