Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift (PRN/Nights/7p-7a) in Georgia. This role emphasizes exemplary nursing practice including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care using evidence-based standards.

You will deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care to diverse populations, coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team, mentor junior staff, and participate in performance improvement initiatives within Wellstar's integrated health

Qualifications

• Associates degree or diploma in nursing; RN license required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation) to deliver individualized clinical care with evidence-based practice.
• Provides relationship-based, patient-centered care adapting to population characteristics and cultural diversity.
• Collaborates with patients and families through bedside reports, rounds, and planned teaching to align goals with the care plan.
• Coordinates safe, high-quality patient care with effective, interdisciplinary communication and thorough documentation.
• Supports performance improvement and governance activities and actively participates in shared governance.
