Job summary

The RN Clinical Nurse at Wellstar Health System is part of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe patient care. Working the Night shift, you will advocate for patients and families while adhering to Wellstar standards and the Georgian nursing practice act.

You will engage in evidence-based nursing, coordinate care through effective teamwork, and support governance and professional development within a busy clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold an RN license and have nursing education compliant with state requirements.
• Minimum 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience.
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently; effective communication with patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation and evaluation using evidence-based practice.
• Delivers relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to age, gender, and cultural context.
• Collaborates with patients and families, communicates goals, and supports patient education.
• Participates in governance, performance improvement, and interdisciplinary teamwork to ensure safe, quality care.
