Job summary

Mercy Health in Cincinnati seeks a New Grad Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical Telemetry Unit (Jewish Hospital) to start on nights. You will partner with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient status, develop care plans, and ensure safe, therapeutic environments.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN (or is an RN applicant) with current licensure; BLS/ACLS are preferred with ACLS required within 6 months of hire. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred, not required).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or RN applicant.
• BLS or ACLS Basic Life Support / Advanced Cardiac Life Support (preferred at hire; ACLS within 6 months).
• Previous experience as an LPN or Patient Care Tech/CNA (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment, develop a plan of care, and evaluate treatment.
• Serve as the point of contact for care coordination across hospital departments.
• Act as a patient safety advocate through quality improvement efforts.
