Job summary

AdventHealth in Lenexa, KS seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical with night shifts. You will assess patients, plan and implement care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, evidence-based care. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1+ year of acute care hospital experience preferred.
• CPR and ACLS/other certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across multiple domains.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and adjust as needed.
• Administer medications and therapies per physician orders and safety protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Coordinate with healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide emotional support and assist in managing complex care needs.
